Series Overview

This journal club is designed to foster discussion of emerging ideas, science, surgical techniques, and policy in the field of organ transplantation.  It is designed to increase awareness of the cutting edge of the field and prepare fellows and faculty at UW to contribute to innovative work.  Keys areas of concentration include not only the results of the journal articles discuss but awareness of the techniques and scientific principles that underlay them.

Global Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will be able to...

  • Increase knowledge of transplant surgery research.
  • Integrate new research techniques into current transplant surgery.
  • Reflect on issues related to diversity, equity, and inclusion in transplant surgery.
