COURSE OVERVIEW
The purpose of this training is to teach Physician Power Users to efficiently use an EMR, which includes reviewing examples of how to integrate your work with mobile devices. This class will give an overview of Haiku and Unified Communications using an Android device.
ELEMENTS OF COMPETENCE
This CE activity has been designed to change learner competence and focuses on the American Board of Medical Specialties area of systems-based practice, the Institute of Medicine competency of quality improvement, and the interprofessional competency of roles and responsibilities.
STATEMENT OF NEED AND PURPOSE
The purpose of this training is to demonstrate efficiencies in EMR configuration, in order to accommodate patient workflows in specialty and sub-specialty areas. Specifically, the courses will show learners how to personalize the tools they use in documentation, placing orders, and messaging about patient care.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This program is intended for physicians in specialty and sub-specialty areas using the EMR in their daily practice.
