Mark Bisanzo, MD, DTMH, FACEPDr. Mark Bisanzo is an Associate Professor in the Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine. 

After completing his medical degree at Harvard Medical School, Dr. Bisanzo went on to complete a Degree in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (DTMH) at the Gorgas Memorial Institute in Lima, Peru. Before joining the faculty at the University of Vermont in 2016, Dr. Bisanzo spent 5 years as a member of the faculty at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. 

With his strong interest and work in Global Health, it comes as no surprise the Dr. Bisanzo has been the recipient of numerous accolades including the SAEM Emergency Medicine & Globalization Award (2015, 2002), as well as being named a 3 time Teacher of the Year at the University of Massachusetts.
