Title:  Old and New: Lessons from Diabetes Care Over Time

As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will:

1) Apply key concepts related to use of NPH and regular or fixed-dose insulin plans and special considerations when compared to modern insulin regimens

2) Identify how injection volume may impact insulin doses and considerations for larger-volume injection

3) Explain special considerations for concentrated insulin (e.g. U-200, U-500) and considerations for safety in the school setting
