Objectives:

As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  1. Identify the basic characteristics of surgical mesh available for abdominal wall reconstruction.
  2. Dsicuss the advantages and disadvantages of currently available mesh for contaminated and clean-contaminated fields.
  3. Identify strategies for evaluation of mesh position on cross-sectional imaging.
