Discuss the nursing quality metrics and how they correlate with nursing practice, patient outcomes, and the financial impact quality metrics have on the health system.   Discuss how Shared Governance can help improve nursing quality metrics.

  • Describe how to correlate standards for the quality care, national benchmarks and patient outcomes
  • List resources available for initiating a practice change.
