Overview
Learners will engage with in depth information on cardiac topics including: cardiac topics including heart failure, anticoagulants, post procedure groin and radial management, pacemakers, agitated saline administration.
Intended Audience
This activity is designed for nurses and Patient Care Technicians.
Learning Objectives
By participating in this activity, learners--as members of the healthcare team--will be able to:
- List common indications for anticoagulants
- Name symptoms of left-sided heart failure
- Explain three components of post cardiac procedure care
- Outline steps for the Chest Pain Protocol
