Series Overview
A 1-hour virtual lecture, offering updates in patient care management, review of signs, symptoms, diagnostic tools for medical emergency situations with focus on pre-hospital management. A plethora of lecturers, leaders in their field, will share basic and advanced concepts with review of significant clinical cases that highlight the importance of early recognition, prompt transport to the proper facility and initial management, and how these actions will impact positively in patient's outcome.

Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational activity, members of the healthcare team will increase their ability to:
- Compare and contrast the spectrum of crush injury, compartment syndrome, and crush syndrome
- Define crush syndrome and the factors that contribute to its development
- Review the prehospital management principles of compartment syndrome
- Review the prehospital management principles of crush syndrome
