RSS Renewal Workshop - 2027-2028 Accreditation Cycle

June 3, 2026 to September 30, 2026

At your Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS) Renewal Workshop, we will discuss topics related to accrediting your series in the coming 2-year accreditation cycle.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Describe recent updates related to accreditation compliance, including conflict-of-interest requirements, strategies to support change, and highlights of the commendation criteria.
  2. Explain how artificial intelligence can be used responsibly to enhance RSS planning.
  3. Apply greater confidence and clarity to the RSS planning process and renewal documentation.
  4. Discuss current experiences with RSS planning and insights for the next cycle of collaborative planning.

In support of improving patient care, the University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.


Credit Designation Statements

American Medical Association (AMA)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1.0 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™.  Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 ANCC contact hour. 
Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this knowledge-based activity for a maximum of 1.0 hours or 0.1 CEUs of CPE credit. Credit can be earned by successfully completing the activity. Credit will be provided to NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity completion. Universal Activity Number (UAN):

By completing the required components of this activity, you give UW-Madison ICEP permission to share completion data with the ACCME, certifying boards, and/or NABP.

ASWB Approved Continuing Education (ACE)
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, the University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program.  Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 1.0 General continuing education credits.
American Psychological Association (APA)
Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.

Board of Certification, Inc. (BOC)

BOC AP Logo

The University of Wisconsin  Interprofessional Continuing Education Partnership (BOC AP#: JA0000358) is approved by the Board of Certification, Inc. to provide continuing education to Athletic Trainers (ATs). This program is eligible for a maximum of 1.0 Category A hours/CEUs. ATs should claim only those hours actually spent in the educational program. 

AAPA Credit Designation Statement

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation
Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
Commission on Dietetic Registration logoCompletion of the RD/DTR profession specific or IPCE activity awards CPEUs (One IPCE credit = One CPEU). If the activity is dietetics-related but not targeted to RDs or DTRs, CPEUs may be claimed which are commensurate with participation in contact hours (One 60-minute hour = 1 CPEU).
