Race Matters: Examining Our Use of "Race" in Academic Medicine - Jennifer Edgoose, MD, MPH
Medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, primary care physicians, RN’s, oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical research associates, and other health care professionals involved in cancer care.
As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Explain the historical socio-political construction of race.
- Summarize how our use of race affects our learners and our patients.
- Identify how race matters.
