Practicing Whole Health II (Choose only one)

February 22, 2022 to December 30, 2022

Practicing Whole Health II focuses on advanced skills in Whole Healthcare. Clinicians will deepen their use of Pause Notice Choose by learning how to use PNC in clinical decision making and as a strategy for becoming aware of and addressing our mental models. Brainstorming, using a Whole Health approach to relationship framing and the transtheoretical model will be incorporated into the health coaching skills already taught to clinicians. Finally, clinicians will work on co-creating wellbeing plans and understanding CIH approaches to health and wellbeing.

Intended Audience

Clinicians who are interested in exploring Whole Health, considering how it can be used to improve one’s own health and well-being, and implementing Whole Health into their professional practices.

Learning Objectives

At the completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

  • Describe the roles of ambivalence and patient engagement in health behavior change
  • Develop a Whole Health well-being plan with the patient
  • Utilize Pause Notice Choose in clinical and diagnostic decision-making
