Dementia Matters is a podcast hosted by Dr. Nathaniel Chin - a geriatrician, memory clinic doctor, and medical director for the Wisconsin Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at the UW-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Chin interviews leading scientists and caregiving experts in the discussion of the latest news, research and caregiver resources in Alzheimer's disease and other causes of dementia.

Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational series, the healthcare team will be able to:
- Identify cognitive change/impairment and noticeable early symptoms of Alzheimer disease (AD).
- Describe the biology of the brain and biomarkers as it relates to cognition changes and those at risk of these changes.
- Develop strategies to reduce the disparities in recruitment of clinical trial patients related to AD.
- Describe therapies and lifestyle interventions for AD and other brain diseases.
- Demonstrate appropriate team-based communication skills in discussing cognitive impairment with patients and their caregivers, respective to team members roles and responsibilities in delivering patient care.
