Objectives:

  1. Describe the anatomy and biomechanics of the forearm, including the PRUJ, DRUJ, and interosseous membrane, and their roles in forearm rotation.
  2. Recognize common disorders affecting the forearm axis, such as fractures, instability, and malunions, and outline current evidence-based treatment strategies.
  3. Identify potential complications associated with management of forearm pathologies, and discuss approaches for prevention and revision treatment.
