Pediatrics Online Grand Rounds (2023)
Pediatrics Grand Rounds is a multidisciplinary and interprofessional conference designed to improve a participant's ability to practice pediatric medicine, including patient care, conducting healthcare research, providing medical education, addressing public health, and implementing innovation.
This activity was designed to meet the needs of health care providers who participate in the care of the pediatric and adolescent patients. This includes, but not limited to: physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners, nurses and trainees (residents and fellows).
As a result of participation in this online education series, learners will be able to:
- Discuss the interprofessional team approaches and issues in pediatric medicine and formulate plans to improve team-based practice.
- Independently and consistently identify state-of-the-art, evidence-based practices influencing the prevention, diagnosis and treatment in pediatric medicine.
- Apply the science evidence influencing recent advances in the practice of pediatric medicine in order to recognize trends and how they might impact patient care.
