TITLE: Diversity On Trial: How to Sustain Individual and Institutional Efforts Towards Transformation

As a result of participating in this educational activity, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

 

 

  1. Evaluate and Explain the details around the reason Diversity is on Trial at the Supreme Court level.

 

  1. Contrast the argument that Educational and Experiential Diversity does not merit race conscious admissions policies in context with prior laws and practices which favored discrimination based on racial identification.

 

  1. Model using equity as a strategy at the institutional level across 5 specific domains, which are critical to advance health equity in the diverse communities we serve

 

  1. Formulate a Diversity, Equity and Inclusion individualized learning plan that allows you to advance your own knowledge and individual effectiveness, in the different aspects of diversity (i.e. Gender, Race or Ethnicity, LGBTQ+/Transgender, other).
