Interprofessional Equity and Diversity Lunch and Learn Online Series

The Interprofessional Equity and Diversity Lunch and Learn Online Series addresses issues related to equity and diversity across health care settings. The series consists of monthly speakers and panels hosted by the Schools of Nursing, Medicine, Pharmacy and Veterinary Medicine.

Intended Audience

Faculty and practicing professionals in the areas of nursing, medicine, pharmacy, veterinary medicine and others interested in diversity and equity in health care.

Learning Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational series, participants will increase their ability to:

  1. Describe how underrepresented populations experience health care. 
  2. Relate how equity and inclusion concepts apply to health care settings. 
  3. Reflect on how their role or position can impact organizations and systems. 
  4. Discuss how health care teams can work together to build equity and inclusion into their practices.
