Presenters discuss how to quickly analyze communication from patients or other providers, reduce the number of steps needed to address common messages received, and automate consistency for follow-up care.

Intended Audience

This activity is designed for physicians who work with the EMR in their practice

Learning Objectives

By participating in this activity learners will be able to: 

  1. Utilize tools such as Chart Search, Chart Review, Results Review, and Synopsis to review valuable patient information and enable a more effective patient encounter.
  2. Make use of pre-charting tools to more efficiently organize patient workflows and orders in anticipation of a patient encounter
  3. Identify keyboard shortcuts to increase efficiency navigating the chart.
