Presenters discuss how to quickly analyze communication from patients or other providers, reduce the number of steps needed to address common messages received, and automate consistency for follow-up care.

Intended Audience

This activity is designed for physicians who work with the EMR in their practice

Learning Objectives

By participating in this activity learners will be able to: 

  1. Develop InBasket tools to communicate with other providers and patients to streamline patient care.
  2. Experiment with ways to improve efficiency and organization within InBasket using features such as Postpone, Comments, and Quick Actions.
