Epic Efficiency Hour: Inpatient Provider Reviewing Information - 5:00 PM 09_06_2023
This session examines suggestions to optimize design and use of Inpatient Workflows including the top efficiency tips for managing your patient list, finding information in the chart, and navigating Hyperspace.
Intended Audience
This activity is designed for physicians who work with the EMR in outpatient settings.
Learning Objectives
By participating in this activity learners will be able to:
- Identify efficiency tips to improve workflows such as navigating Epic, finding information in a patient's chart, and managing their patient list .
- Describe how personalization features such as customizing workspaces, tweaking reports. and optimizing patient lists can improve efficiency in the EMR and allow for more efficient patient care in the acute care setting.
- Develop sustainable changes to workflows and system configurations designed to improve specialty-specific efficiencies and patient care.
