Epic Efficiency Hour: Inpatient Provider Notes and Ordering 5:00 PM 09_12_2023
This session examines suggestions to optimize design and use of Inpatient Workflows including the top efficiency tips for managing your order and order set favorites and using SmartTools to chart more efficiently.

This activity is designed for physicians who work with the EMR in their practice
Learning Objectives
By participating in this activity learners will be able to:
- Identify efficiency tips to improve workflows such as navigating Epic, finding and managing patient orders, and efficiently documenting on the patient chart.
- Describe how personalization features such as order favorites, personalized orders sets, and SmartTools can improve efficiency in the EMR and make for more efficient patient care in the Acute Care setting.
- Develop sustainable changes to workflows and system configurations designed to improve specialty-specific efficiencies and patient care.
