Intended Audience
This activity was designed to meet the needs of health care providers who participate in the care of the pediatric and adolescent patients. This includes, but not limited to: physicians (MD/DO), nurse practitioners, nurses and trainees (residents and fellows).
Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this online course, learners will be able to:
- Explain important criteria to consider when creating definitions for clinical syndromes.
- Evaluate how changes in clinical practice may affect diagnostic criteria for clinical syndromes within each of your own specialties.
- Analyze limitations with diagnostic criteria for clinical syndromes.
