Anesthesiology Online Grand Rounds
Series Overview
Anesthesiology Grand Rounds are designed to increase awareness of current research and advances in basic sciences and clinical sciences that drive medicine, specifically anesthesiology, pain medicine, critical and perioperative care. Participants should also improve ability to critically review and integrate large database-driven information and evidence-based advances into clinical practice.
Intended Audience
Clinical anesthesia providers in the Department of Anesthesiology, which includes both faculty physicians as well as residents in training and clinical anesthetists, comprise the target audience. Non-UW clinicians are not targeted, but the live educational sessions are open to anyone interested.
Learning Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational series, participants will improve ability to:
- Discuss current research and advances in basic sciences and clinical sciences that drive medicine, specifically anesthesiology, pain medicine, critical and perioperative care.
- Critically review and integrate large database-driven information and evidence-based advances in all sub-specialties of anesthesiology, pain medicine and critical care into clinical practice.
