2018 Madison Clinical Conference - Updates in Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy
COURSE OBJECTIVES
The goal of this Conference is to provide an interprofessional audience of pharmacists, nurses and other interested healthcare practitioners, with updates in managing select cardiovascular diseases. This activity will provide attendees with the clinical knowledge to enable them to more effectively treat and manage patients with cardiovascular disease, as well as to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.

Learning Objectives
As a result of participating in this Conference, attendees should be able to:
1. Describe and discuss the pathophysiology, morbidity and mortality of select cardiovascular diseases.
2. Identify and outline the pharmacologic management of select cardiovascular diseases.
3. Identify strategies to facilitate healthcare provider/patient interactions and communication to assist patients in their management of select cardiovascular diseases.
