Series Overview
Weekly multidisciplinary review of pediatric cardiology and congenital cardiothoracic surgery patients using evidence-based care standards to choose optimal, team-based management strategies for these patients.
Global Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will:
- Improve application and communication of knowledge of the scientific evidence influencing recent advances in the patient-centered practice of pediatric cardiology.
- Incorporate team-based management of the appropriate application of new diagnostic and treatment techniques in pediatric cardiology care, while providing effective, value-driven patient care as part a collaborative care team that adapts to address health disparities and the needs of our diverse patient population.
- Consistently meet the evidence-based standards of care when providing care to patients with different conditions and diagnosis of congenital heart disease.
