Series Overview

This continuing education series is designed to create a uniform platform that introduces aspects of the changing landscape of pediatric rheumatology practice, incorporating clinical, research, and patient/family perspectives in order to conduct efficient and effective research that will better the lives of children with rheumatic disea+C17se. This series will help new study coordinators understand the field of rheumatology, including specific disease discussion, medications used in rheumatology and labs required for completion of this study.  This series will help explain why the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) is requiring specific questions to be completed by patient/parent participants.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the University of Wisconsin–Madison Interprofessional Continuing Education Partnership (ICEP) and the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance . The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP is jointly accredited by the  Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing  education for the healthcare team.
