Series Overview
This series utilizes lectures and case-based discussions enabling learners to provide state of the art, patient-centered cardiovascular care to patients in the clinic, on the inpatient services, and in the diagnostic laboratory. We aim to improve knowledge and competence among learners and clinical teams as they gain new information, skills, and team-based strategies to optimally practice within their subspecialty. This includes knowledge of new and developing research, technology, therapy and practice guidelines for treating cardiovascular related diseases, changes in our care delivery system, and practice issues identified in QA conferences.

- Provide state-of-the-art, interprofessional, patient-centered cardiovascular care to patients in the clinic, on the inpatient services and in the diagnostic laboratory.
- Apply knowledge to clinical practice in the areas of diagnostic testing for cardiovascular disease, use of newly released medications, and implementation of guideline recommended treatment for cardiovascular disease.
