Series Overview
Allergy Grand Rounds is a weekly educational series. An interprofessional team of clinical experts and planners work together to introduce a variety of topics that are relevant to the intended audience. Allergy Grand Rounds is regularly attended by physicians, fellows, nurses, and other professionals including lab staff.
Global Objectives
As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will be able to:
- Discuss rare immunlogic diseases.
- Evaluate current allergy and asthma research and how it relates to patient care.
- Compare the roles of providers, nurses, and dieticians in management of allergic disease.
- Identify healthcare disparities in immunologic and allergic diseases.
