1) Research Students Presentation: Assessment and documentation of dark skin tones for pressure injuries
     As a result of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe best practice recommendations for the assessment of pressure injury on darkly pigmented skin.
  2. Apply evidence-based terminology to wound assessment and documentation across the skin tone continuum.
  3. Identify the value of an objective skin tone assessment tool for pressure injury risk stratification.

2) Dermatology Residents Presentation: Identification and Management of Common Skin Conditions in Skin of Color
     As a result of this learning activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify common, benign lesions in skin color
  2. Identify malignant lesions in skin of color
  3. Identify common inflammatory conditions in skin of color
