2024 Rural Health Outreach Project: Provider Education on Lupus

July 19, 2024

Course Overview

This educational activity is designed to build sustained connections between healthcare providers who live and work in rural and/or underserved areas and rheumatologists working in larger communities. This initiative aims to bridge the gap in rheumatology care, ensuring patients receive the attention they need. Participants will gain critical knowledge about lupus, including its signs and symptoms, and learn best practices for handling suspected cases. The program will also focus on identifying when to consider lupus in differential diagnoses, particularly for high-risk groups. Enhance your ability to provide comprehensive care by participating in this essential training.

Intended Audience

MD/DO, RN, APRN, Physician Assistants, and Residents practicing in rural primary care and emergency room settings.
