2024 Pediatric Critical Care Regional Meeting
The 2024 6th Annual Pediatric Critical Care Medicine Regional meeting is a collaborative effort of the five Pediatric Intensive Care Units in Wisconsin. This year the theme of the conference is Pediatric Neurocritical Care. The educational conference is multidisciplinary in nature, designed to provide up-to-date information and research on the care of children with injury or illness affecting the neurologic system. The conference is intended for medical personnel who care for children including pre-hospital, transport, emergency department, intensive care and hospital medical providers. The content of the conference is designed to provide continuing education credit for nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists and physicians.

Intended Audience
This activity is designed for physicians, nurses, advanced practice providers (NP/PA), pharmacists, and respiratory therapists in the Wisconsin area who see pediatric critical care patients as part of their practice.
Elements of Competence
This CE activity has been designed to improve learner competence and focuses on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education and American Association of Colleges of Nursing areas of employing evidence-based practice and medical knowledge.
This activity also focuses on the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion competencies of addressing healthcare disparities and engaging in self reflection.

- Formulate plans to incorporate best approaches into their practice by identifying and discussing trends in critical care with interdisciplinary care teams.
- Increase interprofessional collaboration across Midwest regional intensive care units through reviewing latest innovations and best practice principles in pediatric critical care.
- Review latest quality improvement initiatives through interdisciplinary discussion on current QI projects and research.

CONFERENCE FEES

The conference fee includes the cost of tuition and a nonrefundable processing fee of $35. In-person attendee fees also include a continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks. Virtual attendee fees also include access to the virtual platform.

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Cancellation requests received at least 96 hours prior to the conference will allow a full refund except for the $35 nonrefundable processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received less than 96 hours prior to the activity start date.
