2024 IART Annual Conference: The Core of Regenerative Medicine Treatment of Musculoskeletal Pain

Madison, WI US
September 18, 2024 to September 21, 2024

About the Course

The IART conference has invited renowned faculty to give presentations and participate in a panel to give answers to tough questions about prolotherapy, PIT, regenerative injections, and the use of ultrasound prolotherapy techniques.

Elements of Competence

This CE activity has been designed to change learner competence and focuses on the following competencies:

American Board of Medical Specialties:

  • patient care and procedural skills
  • medical knowledge
  • practice-based learning and improvement.

Statement of Need

The treatment of chronic pain is a complex, multifaceted problem. The faculty of this activity offer participants detailed instruction in the use of prolotherapy to treat laxity of ligaments that often cause chronic myofascial pain. Due to more active lifestyles, an aging patient population, and patient desire for relief of chronic pain, prolotherapy is an elegant, effective and safe treatment.

Intended Audience

This educational activity has been designed to meet the needs of physicians, (MD and DO) and other healthcare providers (nurses, naturopaths and physician assistants) who provide pain management services for musculoskeletal pain.

Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this activity, participants, as members of the healthcare team, will be able to:

  • Analyze anatomy of the musculoskeletal system
  • Summarize non-surgical treatment options for orthopedic and neurogenic pain.
  • Discuss injection techniques for orthopedic and neuropathic pain.
