Series Overview
This weekly conference focuses on the care of pediatric cardiac patients through case-based discussion, content-expert presentations, and journal reviews. Learning occurs with the interprofessional team to incorporate best approaches into the practice of the entire care team.
Target Audience
Pediatric cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, pediatric critical care physicians, cardiac nurses, PAs, echo techs.

After completion of this activity, the participant will be able to:
- Review current guidelines, recent evidence and best practices related to diagnoses and treatment of congenital and acquired cardiac disease.
- Discuss the appropriate application of echocardiogram as a diagnostic and treatment techniques for pediatric heart disease.
- Discuss lab operation concerns raised during quality study analysis of lab function and develop a plan with the echo lab team to address discrepancies.
- Discuss team-based management of the appropriate application of new diagnostic and treatment techniques to improve pediatric cardiology care.
