Series Overview

The Otolaryngology Community Forum is a recurring lecture series featuring presentations from members of the UW interdisciplinary otolaryngology team including otolaryngologists-head and neck surgeons, advanced practice providers (NP/PA), nursing, researchers in otolaryngology, audiologists, speech language pathologists, fellows and residents-in-training. These presentations are intended to the provide participant with evidence-based management of conditions of the head and neck, broaden their understanding, and engage.

Global Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational series, members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  • Discuss knowledge of current practice guidelines, research, and both surgical and nonsurgical management of otolaryngologic conditions.
  • Improve collaboration and communication across disciplines and professions to provide optimal team-based otolaryngology care.
  • Apply knowledge gained to individual practice.
