Title:  Early life microbiota development and childhood asthma - microbiomes to mechanisms.

  1. Compare infant microbiota features that distinguish high and low risk for atopy and asthma in childhood
  2. Define a mechanism by which microbial metabolites promote allergic inflammation
  3. Identify inherited microbial functional features that protect against early life markers of allergic sensitization
