UWNIL Decon Training 2025
This course covers Chemical Decontamination from Levels A through D, focusing on the purpose and types of decontamination, hospital decontamination and operations, and scene safety. It includes detailed instruction on donning and doffing personal protective equipment (PPE), PPE exclusion criteria, and monitoring and safety of responders. The course also addresses procedures for both ambulatory and non-ambulatory decontamination, patient care during the decontamination process, and special considerations for vulnerable populations.
