Objectives:

  1. Assess the face and in particular facial asymmetry.
  2. Discuss surgical approaches to correcting facial asymmetry.
  3. Recognize common conditions of facial asymmetry both congenital and acquired.
  4. Discuss technical pearls to successfully reconstruct these facial deformities.
  5. Describe recent studies in facial asymmetry and their implications for future changes in treatment.
