Objectives:  As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  • Describe anatomic risk factors for patellar instability
  • Discuss previous and current concepts of post-MPFLR rehabilitation
  • Identify areas of potential improvement within our own practice based on evidence including:
    • Consistent pre-surgical workups
    • Use of NMES
    • Post-operative bracing
    • Consistent progressive testing for RTS decision making
    • Setting better patient expectations regarding timeframes for rehab and RTS
