Objectives:  As a result of this educational regularly scheduled series, learners as members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  • Identify common biomechanical running faults using a 2-dimensional video gait analysis
  • Describe common causes of hip pain in the runner and methods of rehabilitation
  • Describe risk factors for stress fractures of the hip in the runner
  • Discuss current literature describing the relationship of femoroacetabular impingement and femoral stress fracture
