Course Overview

CT-POW (Computed Tomography – Protocol Optimization Workshop) is an interdisciplinary, hands-on conference dedicated to enhancing CT protocols and workflows. Designed for radiologists, CT technologists, imaging informaticists, and medical physicists, this event provides a unique opportunity to collaborate, learn, and implement practical solutions to optimize CT imaging practices.  You can expect expert-led workshops on protocol refinement & radiation dose management, Interactive case discussions and Live demonstrations on optimizing CT scanner settings, to name a few.

Intended Audience

This activity is designed to reach physicians, physicists, radiologists, CT technologists, Imaging Informaticists and other healthcare professionals.

Learning Objectives

As a result of participation in this activity, members of the healthcare team will be able to:

  • Identify strategies to minimize radiation dose while maintaining image quality
  • Gain insights into advanced scanning techniques, workflow improvements that support the team

The conference fee includes the cost of tuition, a continental breakfast, lunch, and refreshment breaks. 

A recorded version of the conference lectures will be made available at a later date for UW Health CT Technologists that cannot attend in person due to clinical schedule conflicts.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
