Call for Poster Proposals

Join us for the 2026 Native Nations Nursing, Helpers, and Healers Summit, where we invite poster presenters to share their expertise in culturally congruent healthcare for Native American communities. This year’s Summit is scheduled for Friday, October 30, 2026 at the Oneida Hotel & Conference Center in Green Bay, WI.

The 2026 theme is Community as Medicine. Healing does not happen in isolation. Across Indigenous communities, wellness is cultivated through relationships with family, Elders, culture, language, community, the land, and one another. Community provides belonging, identity, accountability, safety, and hope. It is where knowledge is shared across generations, resilience is strengthened, and healing becomes possible.

The Summit provides a space for the interprofessional healthcare team - including nurses, physicians, social workers, psychologists, and dietitians - to share Indigenous wisdom and collaborative approaches to address the health and well-being of our relatives. We seek proposals that incorporate adult learning principles and address professional practice gaps in Indigenous health.

Students (undergraduate and graduate) in any healer profession program are highly encouraged to apply!
