Intended Audience

Medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, primary care physicians, RN’s, oncology nurses, nurse practitioners, clinical research associates, and other health care professionals involved in cancer care.

Learning Objectives

As a result of this educational activity, learners will be able to:

  1. Discuss the impact of a consultative survivorship program.
  2. Evaluate the design and results of two examples of multidisciplinary interventions.
  3. Compare the Primary Care Providers’ Knowledge, Attitudes, Beliefs, and Practices Regarding Their Preparedness to Provide Cancer Survivorship Care.
  4. Explain the current status and future of Cancer Center based survivorship programs.
