3-Day Immersive Healthcare Simulation Course
Overview
This course aims to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to effectively design, facilitate, and debrief simulation education. This 3-day immersive simulation education course is designed to cover the foundational elements and best practices in simulation education.
Day 1: Participants will be introduced to the fundamentals of simulation education, including its theory, design, and the various types of simulation technology.
Day 2: The focus will shift to the development of simulation education, including drafting effective simulation scenarios. Participants will also receive hands-on practice with prebriefing techniques and an introduction to facilitating simulations.
Day 3: The emphasis is on debriefing through experiential practice exercises. Participants will have the opportunity to implement the simulation scenarios they created on Day 2, including conducting prebriefing and debriefing sessions.
