Mentoring Prospective Genetic Counseling Applicants
What GC Programs Want You to Know

A collaborative effort between UW-Madison, University of MN, and Northwestern University

Please join us to learn how you can be most effective at mentoring prospective applicants to a genetic counseling program.  After attending this seminar, you will recognize what constitutes a qualified applicant, create valuable learning opportunities, and appreciate why the mentorship you provide is so critical to our profession.  Spots are limited to ensure robust discussion. The National Society of Genetic Counselors (NSGC) has authorized UW-Madison to offer up to 0.15 CEUs or 1.50 Category 1 contact hours. The American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) will accept CEUs earned at this program for the purposes of genetic counselor certification and recertification.  If you wish to receive this credit type, enter your NSGC ID# at registration.  The registration fee covers the CEU fee and processing.
