2026 Focus on POCUS: Basic & Advanced Courses

Madison, WI US
March 6, 2026

Join us for Focus on POCUS: Two workshops on one day to meet your POCUS educational needs!
Both workshops will build on your POCUS skills with ultrasound fellowship trained instructors on Friday, March 6th!

Basic-course participants will have the opportunity to obtain 15-20 proctored exams: appropriate for those with none or some POCUS experience who want to learn the basics of point of care ultrasound.

Advanced course is targeted for those already comfortable with some clinical use of cardiac, lung, and abdominal ultrasound but want focused practice and next-level instruction to meet their educational needs. Advanced participants will complete some lectures in advance, allowing for up to 30 proctored exams.

Enrollment is open to physicians and APPS at UW Health and beyond, but limited to 18 participants.

Cost: $599 (UW Health Physician/APP) $499 (UW Health Fellow/Resident) $799 (External to UW Health)

Enduring Content: Advanced course in-depth asynchronous content covering DVT and Next-level Cardiac scanning will be released on February 13, 2026. This content will be available to basic course attendees after March 6th.

Bonus Content: In-depth asynchronous content covering Best Practices in POCUS, Approach to Shock with POCUS, Evidence-Based POCUS and How to Optimize Your POCUS Exam will be made available to participants through June 21, 2026.
