2025 Focus on POCUS: Next Level
UW Health affiliated physicians and advanced practice providers are invited to hone their point-of-care ultrasound skills through "Focus on POCUS: Next Level". This one-day CME course led by expert SMPH faculty includes a unique blend of hands-on and lecture-based instruction, as well as 6+ hours of available asynchronous learning. This course is intended for clinicians who ae confident with basic cardiac, lung and abdominal imaging who want to advance their skills in these indications.
Participants must have completed a basic POCUS training in order to register for this course. Enrollment is open to UW Health and affiliate physicians, APPs, fellows and residents. This course is limited to 12 participants.
Enduring Content: In-depth asynchronous content covering will be released on March 7th, 2025, the day of the Focus on POCUS conference.
Bonus Content: In-depth asynchronous content from the June, 2024 Focus on POCUS course covering Best Practices in POCUS, Approach to Shock with POCUS, Evidence-Based POCUS and How to Optimize Your POCUS Exam will be made available to participants through June 21, 2025.

Intended Audience
This activity is designed to meet the needs of UW Health and UW Health-affiliated physicians and APPs including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, residents and fellows.

Parking is available in Lot 75. After parking, participants should proceed to the UWH Clinical Simulation Center (located within the University Hospital - 600 Highland Avenue. (See below under "Conference Location Directions" for additional information).
Conference Location Directions:
The UW Health Clinical Simulation Program is located within University Hospital (600 Highland Avenue) on the western edge of the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Our center is the H module on the first floor of the hospital.
After arriving at the hospital parking lot: Enter the building through the clinic's entrance on the right and follow Main Street to the H bank of elevators and go down to the first floor. From the elevator, walk towards the red wall that read Clinical Simulation Program.

Cancellation Policy
Requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing to help@icep.wisc.edu. Cancellation requests received at least 96 hours prior to the conference will allow a full refund except for the $50 nonrefundable processing fee. No refunds will be made for cancellations received less than 96 hours prior to the activity start date.
