Series Overview

The monthly M&M conference will include case presentations of case which have experienced a complication. We will review pertinant patient history, physical exam findings, and hospital course. We will discuss the complication and perform a root cause analysis of the complication. We will end each case with several key learning points. 

Global Objectives

As a result of participation in this educational series, the healthcare team will…

  • Identify the root cause of complications
  • Assess patients carefully in the perioperative setting with an eye to reducing complications
  • Decrease hospital time for patients with complications
  • Improve team-based care for diverse patients who are considered for or had plastic surgery

American Board of Surgery Continuous Certification
