Series Overview

Department of Human Oncology physics and physician attendings and residents and rotating students review recent journal articles with relevance to field of Radiation Oncology. Teaching involves discussion of other relevant literature, summary of article(s), and potential implications for clinical practice. Journal article selection completed jointly by trainee and faculty mentor.

Human Oncology Journal Club will be held via WebEx conference.

Target Audience

Clinicians at all levels of training or practice who would benefit from attending, including MD/DOs, RNs, PAs, research staff, students, residents, and fellows.

American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 ANCC contact hour.  

ANCC pharmacotherapeutic contact hours will be calculated and awarded as appropriate per session to meet the needs of advanced practice nurses. 

American Academy of PAs (AAPA)

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 1 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. Approval is valid until 6/30/2022. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
