Series Overview

One hour didactic session, where speakers deliver clinical, basic science and translational talks on neurology and neuroscience related topics. Speakers include UW neurology department faculty members, including neuropsychologists, researchers, clinical faculty; neurology-Waisman center and neurology-neuroscience faculty, neurology residents, as well as other UW clinicians/researchers or invited speakers from outside UW. See target audience later on.

Global Objectives: 

Upon completion of this activity, participants will:

  1. Advance their comprehensive knowledge of new research, technology, and guidelines related to clinical, evidence-based, neurological patient care and basic/translational neuroscience that they may implement in their clinical practice.
  2. Support cutting-edge evidence and science-based care for patients with neurological diseases and provide clinical scenarios to inform basic and translational research needs for neurological disease and neuroscientific discovery.

Our definition of interprofessional collaborative care at this point is clinical - science cross-pollination of knowledge and knowledge gaps in neurology. Achievement of objectives will be measured using: -Self-reported increased knowledge of the topic -Self-reported planned change in clinical practice based on activity.
