Series Overview
This is a monthly interdisciplinary activity for faculty, fellows, residents, pharmacists, APPs, and those interested in current infectious disease topics. Sessions will be designed to discuss the wide breadth of current, high impact infectious disease research that is applicable to the current/potential scope of practice of the target audience. Speakers will include current UW faculty members as well as hosted guest speakers from other institutions.

ANCC pharmacotherapeutic contact hours will be calculated and awarded as appropriate per session to meet the needs of advanced practice nurses.

The University of Wisconsin–Madison ICEP designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 hour of CPE credit. Credit can be earned by documented attendance and by successfully completing the assessment. Credit will be provided to NABP CPE Monitor within 60 days after the activity completion.

Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 1 Medical Knowledge MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine's (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
