Series Overview

The HIV Treaters Meetings is an ongoing series of one-hour case discussions focused on HIV infection. HIV treating clinicians present two cases at each meeting for discussion by the group. Sites are connected in real-time via videoconference and teleconference technologies.

Target Audience

Physicians, advance practice nurses, physician assistants, nurses, pharmacists, social workers, case managers and dentists who provide care to individuals with HIV infection. The clinician participants include both primary care providers and HIV or infectious disease specialists. The audience includes both UW and non‐UW clinicians, staff and clinical trainees.

In support of improving patient care, this activity has been planned and implemented by the University of Wisconsin–Madison Interprofessional Continuing Education Partnership (ICEP) and Midwest AIDS Training + Education Center.
